Erica's Epistles

So a lot has happened in the past ten months! I have a good bit of updating to do so here we go!

On December 30th, 2012 I got engaged to the love of my life.

In January of 2013 my family went on a skiing trip to West Virginia!

In March one of my close friends had her first baby girl!

April was full of wedding showers!

On June 1st, 2013 I became Erica Commins. The wedding was perfect. All of our family and closest friends were there to celebrate with us. God has been so good to us. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I love him dearly!

The honeymoon was incredible! We stayed in a cabin in north Georgia and then went to Hilton Head :)

August was busy with seeing old friends..

September we went a visited some old friends who actually did our marriage counseling, they moved to Ohio to pastor a church!

So now it's October and the past eight days have been spent laying on the beaches of Panama and Costa Rica, spending time with this years GAP students, continuing old friendships with ticos, and learning more about our great God.

Panama was beautiful. On a normal day the skies were blue, the ocean was crystal clear, and the temperature was 115 degrees. Will and I had a good time tagging along with the students. We went with them to an old folks home where stories were told, food was fed, and the Gospel was told. There was singing and dancing-

After that we all went snorkeling!

It was so much fun! Will and I held a jelly fish! Yes, I know it sounds crazy but apparently the tentacles don't sting the palm of your hand or the bottom of your feet...or at least that's what the Panamanian told us!

It was so neat going back to Costa Rica because it's where Will and I fell in love. It was weird going back to the villa but I got to meet the girls in Lucas (the room I lived in). It was cool hanging out with all of the girls! We stayed at the Lovell's most of the time we were there with was so good to catch up with them! John Lucas, their son has grown so much! The last three days we were there Will and I went to a beach resort that we had been to during our GAP year a year ago so it was awesome to go back! Here are some pictures-
